Witness Of God's Little Blessings

This post is sort of a continuation of my last one. It's one of the most exciting things that has happened to me in a long time. You might not see it as a big deal, but I'm completely honored and very ecstatic! I'm not trying to brag although I'm sure it might seem like it, but like I said I'm definitely excited.

About a couple of months ago, my brother and sister-in-law talked to me about the births of their twins. They told me that they planned on having the babies in the hospital but as naturally as possible. They don't want to have an automatic c-section just because she is having twins. She wants to try to have them completely natural meaning vaginally with no medication. If a problem arises, then they will obviously take any measure necessary to make sure the babies are safe and healthy. Then, they preceded to ask me if I wanted to be there for the births! Of course I want to be there! I am in complete agreement with all of their decisions up to this point, and I'm going to school to become a labor and delivery nurse. Plus, I believe it is such an amazing and joyous experience to watch a life come into this world. Absolutely perfect!

They gave me the book "Husband-Coached Childbirth" by Robert A. Bradley, M.D. which they've read already and are planning on using this method during the births. I'm in the process of reading the book to give me a better understanding of what will take place and certain things I can do to help both Josh and Jessiqa through the labor and delivery.
