Germaphobe

I think not, but my friends and family definitely think differently. Here are some examples why they might think so...

1. I'm not too fond of sharing my food and drink with other people even family, but I will sometimes. I share with Chaz the majority of the time though.

2. I carry a small bottle of Germ-X in my purse to use before meals or any other time I feel like I need it.

3. When my friend Mindy visited me in our old apartment during March she laughed at the
HUGE bottle of Germ-X sitting on our coffee table.

4. My hands are usually dry, especially in the winter. I guess all my hand washing and hand sanitizing is the cause of this.

5. When I go to a restaurant the majority of the time I get water and ask for no lemon. Thanks to Mindy and passing on her knowledge of how they are covered with
so many bacteria.

6. Another thing I have to use at a restaurant is a straw in my cup to drink through.

7. Honestly, I have a really difficult time trusting that people wash their hands like they should. Oh, say after they use the restroom. Umm...yeah, gross! With all of the studies done on hand washing, do you really blame me?!

8. I'm sure there are many other reasons that I just can't think of right now, especially because everyone makes fun of me for the little tiny things.

I believe I'm going into the perfect profession, and I'm sure all of the patients and parents will be thankful for my so called germ phobia.

Plus, I haven't been sick since the end of December or beginning of January. So if I get teased all the time about my healthy habits then so be it. I'm happy staying free from any illness!

  1. Haha, love it! I'm right behind ya girl. The Germ-x did crack me up though.. prolly cause it was such a huge bottle! I didn't know I told you about the lemon/bacteria thing? Ahhh my memory... lol.

And yes your patients will be thankful! But start stocking up on lotion now... Ouch.
